In Brazil, almost everything happens on WhatsApp: restaurant bookings, tour pickups, apartment hosts and even some shops. A local prepaid SIM has to be registered with a CPF (Brazil's tax number) or your passport, usually in a store. A Brazil eSIM gets you on WhatsApp and maps as soon as you land.
NoKYCsim checkout asks for no CPF, no passport upload and no account. Pay with crypto or card, choose email delivery or a secret order key, and keep your home number on your main SIM. The plan is data-only, so your WhatsApp account stays linked to your usual number.
- No passport or registration
- Hotspot / tethering included
- QR delivery in minutes
- One-off price, no renewal
Why travelers choose a Brazil eSIM without ID
Brazil's three biggest networks
Brazil plans list Claro, TIM and Vivo, so your phone can join whichever is strongest, from Rio and São Paulo to Florianópolis.
No CPF required
Local SIMs need CPF or passport registration. Our checkout asks for neither, and you don't create an account.
WhatsApp from arrival
Message your driver, host or tour guide from GRU or GIG without hunting for airport Wi-Fi.
Pay in crypto or card
Pay with crypto by following the invoice at checkout, or use a card. One price, no recharge cards, nothing renews.
Brazil eSIM coverage: cities, coast and the Amazon
Coverage is strong in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Salvador, Belo Horizonte and Florianópolis and along the busy coastal highways, with 5G rolling out in the major cities. Our Brazil plans currently list Claro, TIM and Vivo.
Expect weak or no signal deep in the Amazon and the Pantanal, in national parks such as Chapada Diamantina and Lençóis Maranhenses, and on long rural bus routes. Ask your lodge about Wi-Fi before remote trips and download offline maps before you go.
How much data do you need in Brazil?
WhatsApp, maps and ride-hailing are light; posting videos from Sugarloaf Mountain is not. Use these starting points.
| Trip | Typical use | Suggested plan |
|---|---|---|
| Rio or São Paulo long weekend | WhatsApp, maps, Uber or 99, photos | 1 GB · 7 days |
| One week, two cities | Navigation, bookings, social posts | 3 GB · 15 days |
| Two weeks including beaches | Video calls, music, frequent uploads | 5–10 GB · 30 days |
| Month-long stay or remote work | Laptop hotspot, daily calls | 20 GB · 30 days |

How to set up your Brazil eSIM
- Step 1
Check your phone
Make sure your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. On iPhone look for Add eSIM in Settings → Mobile/Cellular; on Android look under Settings → Network → SIMs.
- Step 2
Buy and save your QR code
Choose a plan, pay with crypto or card, and pick email delivery or a secret order key. No account and no ID upload.
- Step 3
Install before you leave
Scan the QR code on Wi-Fi at home and label the line "Travel". Check the plan's activation rules before you install, and keep the line's data off until you arrive.
- Step 4
Switch on at GRU or GIG
As you taxi to the gate at São Paulo–Guarulhos or Rio–Galeão, turn on the travel line and set it for mobile data. Enable data roaming for that line if the plan instructions say so, then message your pickup on WhatsApp.
Brazil travel tips for staying connected
WhatsApp is how Brazil talks
Hotels, guides and even restaurants often prefer WhatsApp to email or calls. Keep your Brazil eSIM data on so messages come through.
Use ride-hailing in big cities
Uber and 99 work across São Paulo, Rio and most large cities and are usually the easiest way to get around at night.
Keep your phone discreet
Phone theft is common in busy parts of big cities. Use your phone inside shops or cars rather than on the street, and set a strong screen lock.
Pix is everywhere — carry a card too
Many places prefer Pix instant payments, which usually need a Brazilian bank account. Carry a card and some cash as well.
Download maps before the Amazon
Lodges and riverboats often have limited or no mobile signal. Download maps and booking details before you leave Manaus or Belém.
