Prepaid SIMs in France have to be registered with ID, which means a shop visit and paperwork before you can use them. A France eSIM is set up before you leave home, so you can find the RER, book a taxi or check museum tickets as soon as you land at Charles de Gaulle or Orly.

NoKYCsim checkout needs no passport upload and no account, and email delivery is optional. The plan is data-only, so your home number stays on your main SIM.

  • No passport or registration
  • Hotspot / tethering included
  • QR delivery in minutes
  • One-off price, no renewal

Why travelers choose a France eSIM without ID

France's largest network

France plans list Orange, France's largest mobile operator, with wide 4G and 5G coverage from Paris to the Riviera.

No ID registration

Local prepaid SIMs need ID registration. Our checkout asks for no passport upload and no account.

Strong value on bigger plans

Larger France plans bring the price per GB right down — handy for long stays, road trips and remote work.

Pay in crypto or card

Pay with crypto by following the invoice at checkout, or use a card. One price, nothing renews.

France eSIM coverage: Paris, the regions and the Alps

Orange's network reaches almost all of France's population, with strong 4G and 5G in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Bordeaux and other cities. Our France plans currently list Orange.

Most Paris Métro and RER stations have mobile coverage, though some tunnels between stations can drop. Signal thins in the Alps and Pyrenees, in parts of the Massif Central, in rural Brittany and Provence and on some TGV stretches — download offline maps and tickets before long journeys.

How much data do you need in France?

Maps, transit and messaging are light; streaming on the TGV is heavier. Starting points:

How to set up your France eSIM

  1. Step 1

    Check your phone

Make sure your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. On iPhone look for Add eSIM in Settings → Mobile/Cellular; on Android look under Settings → Network → SIMs.

  2. Step 2

Buy and save your QR code

Choose a plan, pay with crypto or card, and pick email delivery or a secret order key. No account and no ID upload.

  3. Step 3

    Install before you leave

Scan the QR code on Wi-Fi at home and label the line "Travel". Check the plan's activation rules before you install, and keep the line's data off until you arrive.

  4. Step 4

Switch on at CDG or Orly

As you taxi to the gate at Paris-Charles de Gaulle or Orly, turn on the travel line and set it for mobile data. Enable data roaming for that line if the plan says so, then check RER B times or book a taxi.

France travel tips for staying connected

Load Paris transport tickets on your phone

On supported phones, Paris Métro, RER and bus tickets can be loaded through the official transport app. Data makes topping up easy.

Book museums in advance

The Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay and the Eiffel Tower summit use timed tickets. Keep your bookings on your phone.

Use SNCF Connect for trains

Book TGV and regional trains in the SNCF Connect app and keep e-tickets offline for tunnels and rural stretches.

Download maps for the Alps

Mountain valleys and passes can lose signal. Download the area before skiing, hiking or driving over the Alps.

Keep your home SIM for codes

Leave your usual SIM on for bank texts but turn off its data roaming, so only your France eSIM uses data.
