Every Thai SIM has to be registered with a passport, which is why airport SIM counters take your passport details before handing over a tourist SIM — usually after a long queue. A Thailand eSIM skips all of that: you buy at home, install on Wi-Fi and land connected.
NoKYCsim checkout needs no passport upload and no account, and email delivery is optional. The eSIM is data-only, so your home number stays on your main SIM for calls and bank texts.
- No passport or registration
- Hotspot / tethering included
- QR delivery in minutes
- One-off price, no renewal
Why travelers choose a Thailand eSIM without ID
True and DTAC networks
Thailand plans list TrueMove H and DTAC, now part of the same group, with 4G and 5G across Bangkok, Chiang Mai and the main islands.
Skip the airport SIM queue
No counter, no passport copy and no registration form after a long-haul flight. Your eSIM is ready before you leave home.
Book a ride from the gate
Open Grab or Bolt as soon as you land, and use maps and translation straight away in Bangkok's traffic.
Pay in crypto or card
Pay with crypto by following the invoice at checkout, or use a card. One-off price, nothing renews.
Thailand eSIM coverage: cities, beaches and the north
Coverage is excellent in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket and Krabi, and on busy islands such as Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. Our Thailand plans currently list TrueMove H and DTAC.
Signal can weaken on boat transfers, on quieter islands and beaches, in national parks such as Khao Sok, and on jungle treks around Pai and Chiang Rai. Download offline maps and keep ferry tickets saved on your phone.
How much data do you need in Thailand?
Maps, Grab and messaging are light; posting videos from Railay Beach is not. Choose from these starting points.
| Trip | Typical use | Suggested plan |
|---|---|---|
| Bangkok stopover (2–4 days) | Maps, ride-hailing, messaging, photos | 1 GB · 7 days |
| One week: Bangkok and an island | Ferry bookings, navigation, social posts | 3 GB · 15 days |
| Two to three weeks island-hopping | Video calls, music, frequent uploads | 5–10 GB · 30 days |
| A month in Chiang Mai | Laptop hotspot, daily calls | 20 GB · 30 days |

How to set up your Thailand eSIM
- Step 1
Check your phone
Make sure your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. On iPhone look for Add eSIM in Settings → Mobile/Cellular; on Android look under Settings → Network → SIMs.
- Step 2
Buy and save your QR code
Choose a plan, pay with crypto or card, and pick email delivery or a secret order key. No account and no ID upload.
- Step 3
Install before you leave
Scan the QR code on Wi-Fi at home and label the line "Travel". Check the plan's activation rules before you install, and keep the line's data off until you arrive.
- Step 4
Switch on at Suvarnabhumi or Phuket
Turn on the travel line as you taxi to the gate at BKK, DMK or HKT and set it for mobile data. Enable data roaming for that line if the plan instructions ask you to, then book your ride before you reach the exit.
Thailand travel tips for staying connected
Use ride-hailing instead of street taxis
Grab and Bolt show the price upfront and work across Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai. Keep data on until your driver arrives.
Save ferry tickets offline
Island ferries and speedboats often check tickets on your phone, sometimes where signal is weak. Save them as screenshots.
Charge before long boat trips
Searching for signal at sea drains your battery. Carry a power bank on island-hopping days.
Translate street-food menus
Download Thai in your translation app for offline use — camera mode turns menus into English even without a connection.
Neighbouring countries need another plan
