Getting a local SIM in India as a foreigner involves a passport, a visa copy, a photo and local address details, and activation can take hours or longer. That's a lot of admin after a long flight into Delhi or Mumbai. An India eSIM is ready before you board.

NoKYCsim checkout needs no passport upload, no visa copy and no account, and email delivery is optional. The plan is data-only, so your home number stays on your main SIM for calls and bank texts.

  • No passport or registration
  • Hotspot / tethering included
  • QR delivery in minutes
  • One-off price, no renewal

Why travelers choose an India eSIM without ID

Airtel network coverage

India plans list Airtel, one of India's two largest networks, with 4G and 5G across major cities and tourist routes.

No paperwork

Skip the passport copy, visa copy, photo and address form a local SIM needs. Our checkout asks for none of them, and no account.

Online at arrivals

Book an Uber or Ola as you leave Delhi or Mumbai airport instead of queuing at a SIM counter.

Pay in crypto or card

Pay with crypto by following the invoice at checkout, or use a card. One price, nothing renews.

India eSIM coverage: cities, the Golden Triangle and beyond

Coverage is strong in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Jaipur and along popular routes such as the Golden Triangle and Goa's beaches, with 5G in many cities. Our India plans currently list Airtel.

Signal can drop in the Himalayas — Ladakh, Spiti and high trekking routes — in parts of the North-East, in the Andaman Islands and on some rural rail and road routes. Download offline maps and train tickets before travelling there.

How to set up your India eSIM

  1. Step 1

    Check your phone

Make sure your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. On iPhone look for Add eSIM in Settings → Mobile/Cellular; on Android look under Settings → Network → SIMs.

  2. Step 2

Buy and save your QR code

Choose a plan, pay with crypto or card, and pick email delivery or a secret order key. No account and no ID upload.

  3. Step 3

    Install before you leave

Scan the QR code on Wi-Fi at home and label the line "Travel". Check the plan's activation rules before you install, and keep the line's data off until you arrive.

  4. Step 4

Switch on at Delhi or Mumbai

As you taxi to the gate at Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM) or Bengaluru (BLR), turn on the travel line and set it for mobile data. Enable data roaming for that line if the plan instructions say so, then book a prepaid taxi or ride before you exit.

India travel tips for staying connected

Book trains on your phone

Indian Railways tickets can be booked online and are often checked on your phone. Keep the e-ticket and PNR saved offline.

Use Uber or Ola

Ride-hailing apps avoid haggling and work in most big cities. Keep data on until your driver arrives.

UPI payments are everywhere

QR-code UPI payments are used even at street stalls. Visitors can use UPI One World in some airports and cities; otherwise carry cash and a card.

Download maps for the mountains

Himalayan roads and treks often have no signal. Download offline maps and keep hotel details saved before you head up.

Keep your home SIM for codes

Leave your usual SIM on for bank texts but turn off its data roaming, so only your India eSIM uses data.
