Since Brexit, the EU's roam-like-at-home rules no longer cover the UK, so some European contracts charge extra there — and visitors from further afield often pay steep daily roaming rates. A UK eSIM replaces that with one prepaid allowance for London, Edinburgh, Manchester and the countryside in between.

The UK doesn't require ID for pay-as-you-go SIMs, but a local SIM still means finding a shop after a long flight. With NoKYCsim the whole purchase happens before you travel: no account, no ID upload, and email delivery is optional. The plan is data-only, so your home number stays on your main SIM.

  • No passport or registration
  • Hotspot / tethering included
  • QR delivery in minutes
  • One-off price, no renewal

Why travelers choose a UK eSIM without ID

Three UK networks on one plan

UK plans list O2, EE and Three. If one network is weak on a rural road or in a basement bar, your phone can use another listed network.

No roaming surprises

Pay once for a fixed allowance. No daily roaming charge, no contract and nothing that renews after you fly home.

Private checkout

No ID upload and no account. Pay with crypto or card, and choose email delivery or a secret order key you keep yourself.

Ready at arrivals

Install at home on Wi-Fi, switch the line on as you land at Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester or Edinburgh, and head straight for the train.

UK eSIM coverage: cities, the Tube and the Highlands

UK networks reach nearly every town and city, with 5G across central London, Manchester, Birmingham and other large cities. Our UK plans currently list O2, EE and Three, so your phone can join whichever listed network is strongest where you are.

Mobile coverage is being rolled out across the London Underground and already reaches many stations and tunnels, but gaps remain on some lines. Signal thins out in the Scottish Highlands, parts of Wales and the Lake District, and on some rural rail lines, so download offline maps before hiking or driving there.

How much data do you need in the UK?

Contactless payments and maps barely touch your allowance; streaming on long train rides does. These figures are a sensible starting point.

How to set up your UK eSIM

  1. Step 1

    Check your phone

Make sure your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. On iPhone look for Add eSIM in Settings → Mobile/Cellular; on Android look under Settings → Network → SIMs.

  2. Step 2

Buy and save your QR code

Choose a plan, pay with crypto or card, and pick email delivery or a secret order key. No account and no ID upload.

  3. Step 3

    Install before you leave

Scan the QR code on Wi-Fi at home and label the line "Travel". Check the plan's activation rules before you install, and keep the line's data off until you arrive.

  4. Step 4

    Connect as you land

Switch on the travel line as you taxi to the gate at Heathrow or Gatwick and make it your mobile data line. You'll have live times for the Elizabeth line, Heathrow Express or Gatwick Express before you reach passport control.

UK travel tips for staying connected

Tap to pay on transport

London's Tube, buses and many rail routes accept contactless cards and phone wallets, so you rarely need a paper ticket. Your UK eSIM keeps live departures and disruption alerts at hand.

Book trains in advance

Advance rail fares are often far cheaper than buying on the day. Book in the train company's app and keep e-tickets in your phone's wallet.

Ireland is a separate country

A UK eSIM covers the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland. For Dublin or anywhere in the Republic of Ireland, choose a Europe plan that lists Ireland.

Offline maps for hikes

Download the Highlands, Snowdonia (Eryri) or the Lake District in your maps app before you go. Mountain valleys often have no signal on any network.

Keep your home SIM for codes

Leave your usual SIM on for bank texts and calls, but turn off its data roaming so only your UK eSIM uses data.

UK eSIM FAQs

Not with NoKYCsim. Checkout asks for no ID upload and no account; add an email or save a secret order key instead. The UK doesn't require ID for pay-as-you-go SIMs either — but buying online means you're connected before you land.

Coverage is expanding across the Tube and already works in many stations and tunnels, but not everywhere yet. Save your route offline in case you lose signal between stations.

UK plans cover the United Kingdom only. For the Republic of Ireland or mainland Europe, choose a Europe plan that lists every country on your route.

Yes. Hotspot and tethering are included, and connected laptops or phones share the same allowance — size up if you'll work on the road.

No, it's data-only. Use WhatsApp, iMessage or other apps over data, and keep your home SIM on if you need your usual number for calls and texts.
