A local SIM in the UAE has to be registered with your passport, and airport tourist packages are priced for convenience. Roaming from home is often one of the most expensive options on a Gulf trip. A UAE eSIM gives you a fixed, prepaid allowance instead.
With NoKYCsim you buy before you fly, without uploading a passport or Emirates ID and without creating an account. The plan is data-only, so keep your home SIM for calls and bank texts.
- No passport or registration
- Hotspot / tethering included
- QR delivery in minutes
- One-off price, no renewal
Why travelers choose a UAE eSIM without ID
Coverage on du
UAE plans list du, one of the country's two main operators, with strong 4G and 5G coverage across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
No passport upload
Local SIMs need passport registration. Our checkout needs neither a passport nor an Emirates ID, and no account.
Pay in crypto or card
Pay with crypto by following the invoice at checkout, or use a card. One price, no contract and no top-up kiosk.
Online from DXB
Install at home, switch on as you land at Dubai International or Abu Dhabi, and book a ride before you collect your bags.
UAE eSIM coverage across the emirates
Mobile coverage in the UAE's cities is excellent, with 5G widely available in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including the Metro, malls and hotel districts. Our UAE plans currently list du.
Outside the cities, coverage follows the main highways well but can drop in the open desert, in the Hajar Mountains and on remote roads towards Liwa. Download offline maps before a desert safari or a drive up Jebel Jais, and don't rely on signal for off-road navigation.
How much data do you need in the UAE?
Ride-hailing, maps and messaging are light; video calls and posting clips from the Burj Khalifa are not. Start here and adjust to how you use your phone at home.
| Trip | Typical use | Suggested plan |
|---|---|---|
| Dubai stopover (1–3 days) | Maps, taxis, messaging, photos | 1 GB · 7 days |
| One-week holiday | Social posts, bookings, navigation | 3 GB · 15 days |
| Two weeks or a multi-emirate trip | Video calls, music, frequent uploads | 5–10 GB · 30 days |
| Business trip or long stay | Laptop hotspot, daily calls | 20 GB · 30 days |

How to set up your UAE eSIM
- Step 1
Check your phone
Make sure your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. On iPhone look for Add eSIM in Settings → Mobile/Cellular; on Android look under Settings → Network → SIMs.
- Step 2
Buy and save your QR code
Choose a plan, pay with crypto or card, and pick email delivery or a secret order key. No account and no ID upload.
- Step 3
Install before you leave
Scan the QR code on Wi-Fi at home and label the line "Travel". Check the plan's activation rules before you install, and keep the line's data off until you arrive.
- Step 4
Switch on at Dubai International
As you taxi to the gate at DXB or Abu Dhabi, turn on the travel line and set it for mobile data. Enable data roaming for that line if the plan instructions ask you to.
UAE travel tips for staying connected
Check calling apps before you rely on them
Internet voice and video calling is regulated in the UAE, and some apps' calling features may not work. Messaging usually does. Check the TDRA's current guidance before your trip.
Ride-hailing makes Dubai easy
Careem, Uber and the official taxi apps cover Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Keep data on at pickup, especially at big malls with several entrances.
Download maps for desert trips
Desert safaris and mountain drives can lose signal. Download the area in your maps app first and tell someone your route before going off-road.
Skip Wi-Fi sign-up screens
Malls and hotels offer free Wi-Fi, but public hotspots often ask for a phone number or registration. Your UAE eSIM data avoids the sign-up altogether.
Keep your home SIM for 2FA
Leave your usual SIM on for calls and bank codes, but turn off its data roaming so your UAE eSIM carries all your data.
